The community art project, “Phoenix Rising: Hope and Healing through Art” by Gallery 2000 artist Starla Snead, is a seven-foot-tall sculpture with a nine-foot-wingspan; community members take part by creating individual feathers for the wings using alcohol inks. Free workshop dates are Saturdays May 30, June 13, and June 27, 2026.https://www.gallery200.net/art-classes/p/free-introduction-to-alcohol-inks
