Housing Needed for Displaced Families

The Case Management team at Puente del Pueblo is requesting support from all West Chicago residents to help identify vacant and rent-ready apartments, condos, and single-family homes for permanent resettlement for the families displaced by the December 13 building fire. The Red Cross volunteers manage the temporary shelter at Faith Community Church.

St. Andrew Lutheran Church Has Farewell Reception for Pastor Josh

St. Andrew Lutheran Church hosts a Farewell Reception for Reverend Josh Ebener and his family. He became pastor at St. Andrew nine years ago in November. His new position is director of Evangelical Mission in Northern Illnois Synod.

Again the magic in his old silk hat wafts throughout the community, spreading a festive air when Frosty the Snowman comes to West Chicago for Frosty Fest from 4: to 7: p.m. Saturday, Dec. 3, 2022 in the historic downtown district. However, this year there are more new and activities.
