ach Saturday St. Andrew Lutheran Church is the distribution center for food and other donated necessities for the 500 families in need. The volunteers work in all types of weather.

Staff from Hawthorne’s Backyard Bar & Grill delivered presents to the West Chicago Police Department. Members of the Police department also received boxes of goodies from Wheaton Bible Church and pizza from Seervpro of Kendall County and Streamwood, Bartlett, West Chicago and Warrenville.

Dona Smith Retires at Winfield Township Supervisor

After 17 years, lifelong resident Dona Smith is retiring from her position as Supervisor of Winfield Township, effective Friday, December 4, 2020. I would not have been able to do all that I did without the support of my family. They have always been the driving force in all that I do.”

Some members of West Chicago Elementary School District 33 donated their time to provide contactless meal drop-off to families in West Chicago. International Christian Fellowship Church donated 55 turkeys.
