Alexis Leszczewicz, a high school senior at West Chicago Community High School, holds her Second Annual “Community March Madness” basketball tournament to help raise funds for the Hundred Club of DuPage at noon Saturday, March 7, 2026, in Bishop Gym. There are eight teams with four middle school students and one first responder. “For my National Honor Society personal leadership project I am hosting my second annual Community March Madness basketball tournament with the goal of building community with youth and first responders while playing the sport I love, basketball. While the event is free, I am collecting donations for The Hundred Club of DuPage County which offers financial support to the families of first responders who are injured or lost their lives in DuPage County. Last year I raised $1645.”
